The Loziba Rewilding Africa Project is restoring 30,000+ hectares in Zululand into a Big 5 reserve, protecting endangered species and ecosystems. By building a conservation economy, it creates jobs, supports local communities, and fosters harmony between people and wildlife.
African conservancies
African Conservancies converts wilderness land around national parks into Community Conservancies that combine multiple land uses and multiple income streams to build sustainable conservation economies.
Through a participatory communal planning process and spatial development plans, they empower local communities to co-manage land, share in revenues, and protect ecosystems while reducing wildlife conflict.

Grant Fowlds
Grant Fowlds' work has centred on restoring ecosystems, protecting biodiversity, and advancing conservation initiatives that reconnect people with the natural world. As a Partner of the Rewilding Africa Foundation, he will continue to bring his experience, vision, and commitment to projects that ensure Africa’s wild spaces are preserved for generations to come.
Miranda Krestovnikoff
Miranda Krestovnikoff is a wildlife television and radio presenter, best known for her work on the BBC’s Coast and numerous natural history programmes. A passionate conservationist and diver, she has dedicated her career to exploring and protecting the natural world. As a patron, she brings her deep commitment to rewilding and wildlife conservation to support impactful projects across Africa.
Charles Perry
Charles Perry is a sustainability expert with extensive experience supporting environmental conservation initiatives in Africa. He has contributed to projects that promote rewilding and the restoration of natural ecosystems across the continent. He helps integrate sustainable practices into communities and businesses, advancing the long-term protection of Africa’s wildlife.
Christina Skytt
As a Patron Partner of the Rewilding Africa Foundation, international best selling author, Christina Skytt, will lend her voice and influence to advancing the importance of ecosystem restoration and biodiversity. Having mentored Grant Foulds, the rewilding conservationist, she will continue to encourage and support future initiatives dedicated to safeguarding Africa’s wild spaces.
